The old town of Lausanne is a car free area that has been turned into a farm market. One can enjoy there by walking leisurely on the streets and witnessing the great gothic cathedrals and other historic buildings. The very famous Olympic Museum is also located over here and the august Cathedrale Notre Dame which will leave travelers mesmerized is the “must go” of this place.

The most popular thing of this place is its magnificent castles, listing from Château de Chillon to Château de Chatelard. Be it the Montreux Jazz festival or the fantastic ride of chocolate train, they will all give you a lifetime moments to cherish.

This place is well known for its most beautiful and amazing mountain of the world; Matterhorn. One must visit Gornergrat once during their whole lifetime. Not to forget Matterhorn Glacier Paradise which is having the highest cable car station of Europe, giving their tourist fun and frenzy all at same time.
